Ordinal Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) is an unique project that combines the use of Bitcoin ordinals and the Ethereum blockchain. Ordinal BAYC has decided to make use of the newly development Bitcoin Ordinal system which allows tokens to launch on BRC-20. We have taken a slight different approach where the token has been wrapped in WETH which allows traders to use ERC-20 network which in general is more popular and widely used, with addition of higher speed, compared to BRC-20 network. For that we fractionalized the $OBAYC Ordinal into 1 quadrillion ERC20 tokens by using fractional.art, allowing us to turn the Bitcoin-Native Ordinal into FIRST ever BAYC token which lives on Bitcoin! The project involves the creation of wrapped Ordinal BAYC tokens, which allow users to access the benefits of both networks and provides interoperability between them. The Bored Ape Yacht Club is a popular collection of 10,000 unique NFTs that has taken the crypto world by storm, with each NFT representing a different member of the club. Ordinal BAYC will be building its own NFTs with the use of Bitcoin ordinals in this project to further enhance the uniqueness and rarity of these NFTs.
